What have you learned since joining Social Venture Partners AZ?

At Ideas Collide and in my work at Ideas Collide, I am always amazed at the business creativity, leadership and innovation happening every day in Phoenix. Partnering with SOCIAL VENTURE PARTNERS Arizona has opened our eyes to even more people and organizations doing amazing work to build a better Arizona. There is so much potential here and we feel honored to be a part of the momentum and change happening through a progressive and innovative organization like SVP.

Where are you involved / hope to be involved this year?

An essential part of the Ideas Collide culture is a solid commitment to community programs and supporting the Valley nonprofits, arts organizations and numerous social enterprise initiatives around the Phoenix area. Through our agency’s incubator and IC gives programs, our agency and team members have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands of hours to local programs, charities and organizations. Through Social Venture Partners, we hope to not only mentor young future leaders in Arizona, but also continue to connect with future organizations that share our same vision and commitment to growing and increasing opportunities for everyone in Arizona. Many of our team members volunteer work hours and personal time as part of the commitment to giving back. We have mentored Fast Pitch recipients and finalists, we have sponsored SVP events and we will continue to find many ways to fully participate and support the mission of SVP Arizona.

What was Fast Pitch like as a new Partner?

Ideas Collide has been attending Fast Pitch since is second year! Ever since that first experience, we immediately wanted to be involved. We walked away from this year’s Fast Pitch energized seeing the growth and excitement that surrounded the even. Now as a Partner organization to SVP, we are further inspired and excited to see the impact SVP is making with our community.

This year, based upon being a new Partner, we are already working with one of the Fast Pitch organizations on strengthening their messaging and marketing. As partners we hope to continue to make an impact by recruiting further talent and support from our team, finding opportunities to connect organizations with areas of need and further building a strong network between the nonprofit, private and public sectors as a whole.
