Joining the “Cool Kids” Table

Giving back to the community has always been important to me. That desire led me to start my career in the non-profit sector working for Susan G. Komen® Arizona. When I was faced with a career change, I knew I wanted to find a new home in a place that values its employees and giving back to their community.

I knew Ideas Collide from my time working for Komen Arizona. Thanks to the opportunity to work closely with their team as a client, I was able to peek at their unique culture. These people were always willing to go above and beyond for clients, while still making sure their own employees felt loved and supported. I knew that if I had the chance to join the Ideas Collide team, it would be like sitting at the “Cool Kids Table”.

Since I accepted the offer to become a part of the Ideas Collide family, I have felt at home. From the very first day, everyone welcomed me with a smile, snacks and great sense of humor. Each morning, as I walk through the doors, I know I am going to face challenges, but never alone. Today, I am able to work as well as further my passion for charity as I work with several other important organizations, such as Playworks Arizona, Girls in Tech, Arizona Technology Council and the Arizona Humane Society.

These and many more reasons are #WhyIC.
